Yoga for Strength, Balance, and Longevity
Come enjoy an advanced beginner to intermediate level flowing yoga that focuses on stretching, balancing, improving core strength, and listening within. Poses and sequences are explained and demonstrated with options ranging from mild to "spicy.” There will be an athletic tone as we will do repetitions of strength building exercises. Fun and creative explorations of the safe side of your body's edge will be encouraged. Students should be able to shift comfortably between sitting and standing. Please notify Suzanna ahead of time if you need recommendations for modified poses based on musculoskeletal limitations. Blocks, bolsters, and straps are provided and their use is encouraged.
