Unseen, but possibly felt in the results of practice, is the benefit of more unified energetic systems. Vitality is not just the energy to enjoy vigorous activity - it is also the wisdom to practice in a way that sustains energy over time. Class begins and ends with meditation and floor postures to actively prepare the mind and body for practice. Guided by clear anatomical cueing and themes for contemplation, yoga postures of intermediate complexity are interwoven with isometric strengthening exercises. Using props to explore the edges of your practice safely is strongly recommended. At the heart of it all is a practice of compassion and acceptance of one's individual experience.
